Bíba was born on 27 December 2006 in a kennel Šastná Berjanka to mum Bessy and breeder Lenka Schonbeckova. Lenka was so kind to let us have the only havanna brown girl from the litter since she knew how much we liked her bitch Viki (Ave Viktoria Stastna Berjanka) from Bessy's first litter. She was given name Beatrix after a Dutch Queen and we call her Bíba after the Uma Thurman's character from a movie Kill Bill (whose name was Beatrix - Bibi). Bíba is a brood bitch of Appenzeller Sennenhund - on Sunday 27 September 2009 she obtained the breeding dog's approval of the Czech Swiss Mountain Dog Club.
When we are not home Biba spends most time guaring our garden. She quickly learned to bark with the neighboroughs' dogs, announcing bypassers - exactly as an appenzeller should do according to the APZ breed standard.
Bíba is a family dog, when we are at home she loves being with us or at least near us. She is most happy laying on a couch watching TV with her humans :)

Biba is an official Czech Junior Champion since autumn 2008 since she managed to obtain three required CAJC/CAC tittles on three dog shows. More details on her show results can be found on a special page.
And since Biba is so pretty and smart and lovely and ... we decided that it´s the highest time for her to become mother. Her first litter H (registered under kennel Stastna Berjanka) was born on 12. 12. 2010 and her second litter A (registered under our newly established kennel Sijambo) was born on 25. 12. 2011.
